It was originally built as a private clinic for the treatment and recovery of tuberculosis.

It was one of the first buildings to be built with reinforced concrete in the 1920’s.

The pictures below are of when it opened in the 1930’s.

Since its opening in the 1930’s the Moubra building has been under continuous change and is an ongoing process even today. Please see our photo gallery to see more pictures.
