We’re still here, working hard for next summer!

Hello there to everyone and welcome to the latest installment of the International Summer Camp Montana blog.  It’s fair to say that now it feels like summer is over.  Camp has slowly wound down operations over the past few weeks; materials have been stored, rooms have been cleaned and magical memories from the 2011 season will now always be in all our hearts.  Though the weather has been spectacular over the past few weeks, today is a little cold and there is even a hint of snow in the air.  That’s what life in the mountains can be like!

Although there are far less people at camp compared to a month ago, there is still lots of activity and we have been busy preparing for next summer of course!  There are already around 100 children enrolled for summer 2012 and I am sure that they are excited as we are!  In addition to this, we have been active in packing our new brochures, sending them to many countries all over the World.  Just wait until you see the brochure – it looks stunning!  And we shouldn’t forget to mention that reports are being written, the new ISCM calendar is being prepared and there is a program of important maintenance work being undertaken.  We don’t stop once camp has finished you know!

However, one important detail that has yet to be mentioned is the famous ‘Souvenir Book’ from the summer.  Although the books are traditionally not sent out until the last few weeks of the year, we’d like to invite you to view the book online on our new-look website.  Please follow this link to see the 2011 souvenir book and also many other exciting photos and videos from La Moubra and beyond!
