Celebrating Pedro !

Monday, September 14th, 2009

On Friday 11th September the house staff who works at International Summer camp Montana for the summer finished their season. We gathered in the main dining room for a festive lunch. One person in particular who was celebrated was our camp baker, Pedro Gonzalez.

Pedro started working at camp 40 years ago and has been providing our campers with delicious pastries, desserts and breads since 1969. At International Summer Camp Montana all our baked goods, breads and desserts are homemade here in our kitchen by Pedro and his staff.

Thank you for your work Pedro and see you next summer.

Mountain biking near the ski slopes in Crans-Montana

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

The camp Director Philippe Studer and the Camp Banker Thomas Langer have started their mountain biking season in the surrounding area. This is also the same area that the campers will enjoy 1 day and half day hikes and our overnight hut is also located in this area.

You will see from the photos that there is also some snow up in the mountains. From the area of Chetzeron we took some pictures of the view. The lake in the photo is Lake Moubra where we have our sailing programme.

Our camp banker Thomas

Thursday, June 4th, 2009

All of our campers know Thomas as he is the one handing out the pocket money; he is a very popular specialist. Thomas is currently working with our camp administration to help with the preparations for this summer season. He has held many different positions at camp and has been our camp banker for the past 4 summers. This position requires precision and patience. He is also in charge of running errands and for driving campers to the doctors. When Thomas is not in the bank he can be found on the tennis court or Mountain biking.

During the winter Thomas is a ski and snowboard Instructor here in Crans-Montana.

Winter at Camp

Friday, February 20th, 2009

The team at International Summer Camp Montana hopes that wherever you are, the year has started well for you.

The winter here in Crans-Montana is in full swing, there has been a lot of snow in the past few weeks. The whole camp is covered in snow and looks very different than during the summer. We have pasted some photos for you to see.

Do you recognise the camp under all the snow?
