Dear Studer and Mathieu Families,
Perhaps you remember me. I was a camper at ISCM from 1968 to 1969 and a senior counselor from 1970 to 1976. I cannot ever forget the wonderful times I had there and being a part of the blog now and seeing nostalgic pictures makes me want to come back for more! Erwin and Erica and Rudy must remember me. My brother Steven was also a camper and counselor there. I have been married since 1981 and have three children. One graduated college last year and two are just staring this year. I have always told them about ISCM and have shown them the tons of pictures I have taken. My kids were always envious of me being there and who knows - they may want to be conselors one day! Anyway, I have been working for American Express Bank in downtown Manhattan for 33 years but I live on Long Island right on the ocean shore about 70 miles from the city. I don't know if anyone is left from my days at ISCM but I'm pretty sure Danny Heberich is still there who was also a senior counselor when I was there. Does anyone know where Roberto Grisotti is? I was his assistant during my later senior counselor years and took his position when he had days off. If anyone has his address or how he can be contacted I'd appreciate to hear it from you! I also was a counslor for Camp Michigania for my later years at ISCM - is that still going on there ever year? I alway recall many of the hikes (Wildstrubel, Plain Morte, Caban des Violettes, and even going through to Kandersteg and all the day trips we took all over Switzerland. I will remember them all my life. I was there for a visit in June 1981 just before camp started and Rudy and Erica welcomed me, my fiance MaryAnn, and my brother Steven and parents Ruth and Fred into your chalet for a few drinks. Hopefully we can one day come again for a visit. The only other one from camp that I'm in constant touch with is Carol Keller. Perhaps you remember her also as a counselor and camper during that same period. I know Philippe would not know me but I remember you as a small child and I even remember the year you were born! I congratulate you for running such a wonderful camp! All the best of luck to you. I would love to hear from any of you and see if you remember me!! So Erica, Rudy, Erwin, Philippe and even Danny drop me a quick email if you can find the time! I know it's a busy time but it would be nice to renew acquaintances! Also best of luck in the second session and pray for great weather! Thanks again for keeping me in your email list and in your camp blog. Enjoy the summer!!
Sincerely Yours,
Jeff Bechhofer and Family
