Counselor Directed Activities

As you may already know, at International Summer Camp Montana we offer a rich and diverse range of activities for our campers to participate in. In fact, there are as many as 24 different specialist directed activities that feature on our program! These are taught by a member of our staff whom has specific expertise and knowledge in this discipline. However, we also have a number of other activities that appear on our program which are run by our counselors.
Counselor directed activities take place each and every day and are normally pursuits that can be run with either multiple groups (for larger games) or just with a few participants. These activity hours take place during the time which campers taking a language program are attending their class.

From soccer to petanque, vita parcours to ping pong, cup stacking to softball, there is a tremendous variety for our campers to experience during these activity hours. Just as with specialist directed hours, many of our campers will never have had the chance to experience some of these activities before, so it can be the perfect introduction for them! Counselors are always present to guide and supervise and on occasion they have a particular expetise that they can pass on to campers too!

With the inclusion of these activities to our camper’s daily program, a 3 week stay at La Moubra really does provide an incredible variety. The only trouble is that there is just not enough time in the day to do everything you want to!
