Last week’s fact – What else was built or added to the La Moubra building, as well as the new infirmary?
A.
The work carried out prior to the summer of 2007 was primarily to move and extend the infirmary. However, there were also some other extensive changes as a result of this work. Firstly, the old ‘Ping Pong’ room became part of the infirmary and also the ‘Camper Lounge’. The location of the previous infirmary was then converted into two new bedrooms – room 41 and 42. In addition to this, there were also some changes below the ground floor level. There was extra storage and larder space added to the kitchen facilities; more room to store all your favourite food and drinks! Moreover, did you know that there was also a car wash facility added here too?! With all the driving that we do during the summer, it certainly gets plenty of use!

Q.
International Summer Camp Montana has a real ‘family’ atmosphere amongst the staff and there are often people who work for many years at camp. This ‘family’ is no better illustrated than between the members of our house staff, lots of whom work all year round at La Moubra. However, there are quite a few who have now worked at camp for over 25 years! Do you know how many there are and indeed, who they are?!
We will reveal the answer to this ‘Fascinating Fact’ in the next blog!
