Last week’s fact – What have the different nationalities been of the Head Counselors since the 1970’s?
A.
You may be very surprised to know that there have been relatively few nationalities that have been represented by our Head Counselors over the years. In fact, there have only been six and they were;
American, British, Canadian, Irish, Italian and of course Swiss
This does have something to do with the fact that we have had some Head Counselors who have served in their role for quite a long time! Here is the list of the longest serving Head Counselors that ISCM has had:
34 years, Danny Herberich (Swiss)
24 years, Roberto Grisotti (Italian)
10 years, Stefano Graziano (Italian)
7 years, Salome Groot Koerkamp-Albrecht (Swiss)
5 years, Claire Hooper (British), Matthew Craddock (British), Autumn Burke (American)
Q.
As we all know, time never stands still at International Summer Camp Montana; both in the summer and the other seasons we are kept extremely busy! There will be lots of little pieces of maintenance done that many of you would never know about during the ‘off-season’. However, there will be one larger piece of work that will result in a new facility being added to camp for 2012 – can you guess what this might be?!
We will reveal the answer to this ‘Fascinating Fact’ in the next blog!
