Q.
When did Circus become an activity at ISCM?
The Circus tent is very important structure during the summer at ISCM, not least providing the Circus program with a fantastic facility. However, Circus is a relatively recent addition to the range of activities that we offer as part of our program.
Do you know when Circus became and activity at camp? For bonus points, how many past Circus instructors can you name?!
We will reveal the answer to this week’s ‘Fascinating Fact’ in next week’s blog!
Answer to last week’s Fact – Which country is the furthest that a balloon has travelled to?
A.
The furthest point that a balloon has travelled to during a balloon race is Hungary. There were in fact two balloons that made it this far in the same race and were sent back to camp; that’s almost 600km as a bird would fly! It should also be noted that the balloons did indeed fly this far, rather than them being found in a different place and then sent from Hungary.
