Do you know which country is the furthest from camp that a balloon has travelled to?

We will reveal the answer to this week’s ‘Fascinating Fact’ in next week’s blog!

Answer to last week’s Fact – In which Swiss resort was camp held in during 1961 & 1962?

A.

At the age of 25 Rudy Studer started International Summer Camp in the Swiss resort of Arosa. The venue for camp in 1961 & 1962 was the Hotel Post in Arosa and after the hotel was sold in 1963 it was changed into a luxury hotel.  This change meant that Rudy Studer had to search for a new location.  When he came to Montana during 1963 he found and chose La Moubra as the permanent location of International Summer Camp Montana.
