Fact # 13- In what year were the World Downhill Skiing Championships held in Crans-Montana?

Fantastic weather, fresh air and friendly people makes Crans-Montana a fantastic place to visit during the Summer months. However, the town a great place to visit during the Winter, when many people come from all over the World to ski on the slopes available in the resort! Crans-Montana’s slopes are very prestigious and have hosted many important races.
Do you know in what year the World Downhill Skiing Championships were held in Crans-Montana?

Last week’s fact – How many buildings are there on Camp grounds?

The grounds at International Summer Camp are home to a surprising 11 buildings! All the buildings in this number are permanent fixtures at ISCM and are not moved or taken down during the ‘off-season’. These are;
- Residence Erica, housing staff and campers.
- The Raccard, which is a language classroom.
- La Moubra, the camp’s main building
- Hall 8, a further language classroom.
- Hall 7, home to the music hall and stables.
- The ‘Dependence’, which accommodates staff quarters, stables and the photo program!
- The Villa, where many of our Junior campers stay during their time at camp.
- La Tza, the building in which the Head Counsellor’s office is situated.
- The Circus Tent.
- The Golf Chalet.
- The Sailing Chalet.
